Comprehensive Year Round Training
2005-2006 Comprehensive Training Fee Structure
Annual Fees Paid to ISC for Coaching, Registration, and Facilities
- Ages U8-U12: $660
- Ages U13-U15: $684
- Ages U16-U18 (Unified Program): $694
These fees break down as follows:
Registration Fee: $75
The ISC collects an annual registration fee from every player in the club. This amount is necessary to cover the expenses the club incurs when registering your child with the state and national soccer associations. The registration fee also covers the overhead costs necessary to run our soccer club. Your registration fee helps cover the expenses incurred from the following sources: professional accounting services, office and administrative expenses, including phone, fax, postage, advertising, liability insurance, and internet services, and other overhead expenses necessary to maintain our organization. A full list of the expenses covered by the registration fees are delineated in our annual budget.
The $75 2005-2006 fee will be due August 1, 2005 payable to Team Treasurer. The team treasurer must submit one check to the ISC office. This fee is not pro-rated for players joining a club team mid-year.
Facility Fee
- Ages U8-U12: $105
- Ages U13-U15: $105
- Ages U16-U18 (Unified Program): $115
The ISC collects an annual facility fee from every player in the club. All monies collected for facility fees are allocated to cover the expenses related to renting outdoor and indoor practice fields in order to reserve field space for your team's 65 practices per year. Furthermore, the facility fees are also allocated to pay for free practices and programs that are special to the ISC. These programs include the Incentive Plan, the Rewards Program, Open Plays, Super Skills, and the March Madness Event. No additional coaching fees for these programs will be assessed as long as the facility income collected in October is sufficient enough to allow for the scheduling of these programs. Players joining the club between February 1, 2006 and July 31, 2006 will only be charged half of the above fee to cover the remainder of the soccer year.
2005-2006 Facility Fees are due October 1, 2005 to your team treasurer. The team treasurer will then submit one check to the ISC office.
Monthly Coaching Fees
- Ages U8-U12: $40/month, or $480/year
- Ages U13-U15: $42/month, or $504/year
- Ages U16-U18 (Unified Program): $42/month or $504/year
Monthly coaching fees are collected in all 12 months of the club year to compensate the professional coaches that work with each team. Coaching fees may be paid in full at beginning of the year, or may be paid monthly via Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT). Paying monthly by means other than EFT is not available to reduce the administrative overhead incurred by each teams's volunteer treasurer.
Additional Fees - Not Paid Directly to ISC
At the beginning of the fall and spring outdoor soccer seasons, each ISC team will need to submit payment for league fees and tournament fees. Each full ISC team maintains their own checking account which is managed by a volunteer parent team treasurer. The team treasurer will be responsible to submit payment to the league and tournaments in order to ensure that their team will be accepted for the league or tournament.
The team will receive tournament and league recommendations from their ISC coach on July 5, 2005. The team treasurer will then determine how much each team member will need to pay to cover the following fall 2005 expenses:
-
Tournament Entry Fees
Only for tournaments recommended by ISC Staff in July 2005. From time to time, tournaments will be added to a team's schedule. In this case, additional tournament entry fees will be collected prior to these tournaments.
-
League Fees
Includes only Spring and Fall Outdoor League Fees.
-
Coaching Fees and Expenses For Travel Tournaments Only.
Muscatine, Dubuque, Burlington, Cedar Rapids, Cedar Falls, Marshalltown, and the Quad Cities are not considered travel tournaments. Coaches are paid $60.00 per day at tournaments in order to cover their food and gas expenses and to pay them a small fee for coaching. If a coach travels on a weekday to the tournament they are paid $30.00 for the "travel day" to cover travel expenses.
-
Parent Coach ISA Registration Fee
-
Team Copies, Faxes, and Stamps for Team Mailings. These are expenses incurred by your own team manager or treasurer, not by the ISC staff.
Team Fee #1 is due July 15, 2005, payable to Team Treasurer. Money Remains in Team Account.
Team Fee #2 is due Jan 1, 2006, payable to Team Treasurer. Money Remains in Team account.
Please note: The amount that each family will be responsible to pay for team fees will differ from team to team. The more tournaments and travel tournaments the team attends, the greater the team fee.
Indoor Soccer Cedar Rapids Sportszone League
Indoor league fees are not covered by team fees. Only those who choose to play indoor games are charged to play. Each team's parent manager will inform you of the amount due if you choose to play in the winter Sportszone league.
Please note the ISC all full ISC teams to register in at least one of the up to three indoor sessions. Some individuals on your team may not play in the indoor session. Those individuals who will miss all indoor league sessions need to discuss this with their team coach.
